Sarah Geronimo’s former closed-in bodyguard Jerry Tamara has agreed to settle issues, and will not file any formal charges against Matteo Guidicelli for P200,000.
This is after Tamara’s accusation that Guidicelli allegedly punched him in the throat at the reception of the couple’s secret wedding last February 20.
Tamara was accompanied to the Viva Entertainment office by Raffy Tulfo last February 26. They were supposed to meet the newlyweds and Vic del Rosario — the company’s founder, chairman, and also the manager of Sarah.
On their arrival at headquarters in Viva, del Rosario told Tamara that Guidicelli and Geronimo were unable to go since the two were still in their respective work commitments.
The two, Tamara and Del Rosario, had a closed-door meeting where the former bodyguard of Geronimo allegedly asked for P1.5 million.
Tulfo mentioned that del Rosario made a P100,000 counteroffer, which Tamara refused to accept.
According to Tulfo, as long as Guidicelli would apologize to him in the TV5 complex, Tamara would decide to settle the matter even without any money involved.
However, the radio host told Tamara that this is highly unlikely to happen because Guidicelli and Geronimo are both signed ABS-CBN artists.
Is Mommy Divine the person behind?
In the same video, Tamara also revealed that he was told not to negotiate with Guidicelli as said by Geronimo’s mother Divine.
“Dapat nasa proseso daw. ‘Yung ginawa ni Sir Matteo, dapat panagutan ang pangyayari at malinis ang pangalan,” he said.
He was asked if Mrs. Geronimo has been dictating the actions to take, Tamara said: “Hindi po sir. Kusang loob ko talaga sir na pumunta sa inyo. Sa akin naman sir, gusto ko naman talaga maayos na para wala ng gulo. Gusto ko rin makaharap sila Ma’am Sarah at Sir Matteo talaga.”
There was no agreement settled on February 26, but Jay Montelibano of Viva told Tulfo two days after that Tamara had already approved a settlement amounting to P200,000.
